Is to Love God and Lead People into a Life Devoted to God through Jesus Christ.
God has put Trinity Baptist Church on a Faith Journey
We want to be a God-Centered People
For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be glory forever. Amen. (Rom. 11:36)
Before all other things, in this life and the next, God is most valuable. We envision a people who desire to know Him with increasing intimacy above all other things. A people who desire to see the mighty works of God, who love Him with all of their heart, mind, soul and strength, and believe their faith in Him is more real than anything they can see, touch, taste, hear or smell. We envision a people who boldly live their lives trusting Him, willing to risk everything they have in this world for the sake of His calling on their lives.
Deut. 6:4-9; Pss. 63:1, 119:58; Hab. 3:2; Matt. 22:37; Acts 17:24-28; Rom. 11:36; Phil. 3:7
We want to be a Bible-Driven People
Oh how I love your law! It is my meditation all the day. (Ps. 119:97)
We want to be a people who value the Bible as the ultimate authority in their lives, who refuse to be conformed to the pattern of this world. We desire to be a people who eagerly read, study and search the Scriptures for God’s direction in their lives. We envision fathers and mothers reading the Scriptures to their children, friends pointing friends to the Scriptures for insight and truth, and a church led by Bible-saturated teaching and leadership to raise up and train the next generation of believers.
Deuteronomy 11:18-19; Psalm 119:97; Psalm 119:105; Romans 12:2; 2 Timothy 3:14-17; James 1:22-25; 2 Peter 1:20-21
We want to be a People Devoted to God
Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the LORD, our Maker! For he is our God, and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. (Ps. 95:6-7)
We envision a church whose members share a hunger for a personal, intimate daily devotion to God and who acknowledge God’s supreme worth in their unceasing prayer and worship, privately and corporately.

We desire Authentic Community
And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. (Heb. 10:24-25)
God desires His people to do what ever it takes to keep the “unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace”.
We envision Trinity as a place where people feel genuinely welcomed and accepted for who they are, and Jesus becomes the foundation and center of every relationship. These relationships will be a place where people can share happiness and hurts openly and honestly, not fearing rejection or judgment. We envision that as this matures, it will produce a harmony and unity of purpose in every God-appointed endeavor.
Our vision is to be a church where people want to be and want to belong.

We want to be a Missional People
You go, and do likewise. Lk. 10:37
We desire to see the hearts and lives of all people changed by and for Christ Jesus. Moving from death to life; from despair to hope; from aimless to devoted.
We seek to help our people to discover the gifts and talents that make up their God-given design, so they are equipped to serve Christ happily and effectively in some ministry either within or outside the church, helping meet the needs of others both physically and spiritually.
Matt. 5:14-16, 20:25-28, 24:14, 28:18-20; Lk. 10:29-37; Rom. 10:14-15, 12:4-8; 2 Cor. 5:17-20; Eph. 4:11-14;
1 Pet. 4:10-11
We seek Continuous Spiritual Growth
And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ. (Phil. 1:6)
We see a church where a high value is placed on knowing God through His word. We see the lives, of new and older believers alike, being transformed through obedience to God and application of Scripture to life. We see a hunger for God and multiple opportunities to be involved in Bible Study. We see a membership that understands their unique giftedness and contribution to Christ’s body. We see people eager to serve and contribute financially to God’s work motivated by love and devotion to Him.
